I have sat in the client chair many times and know that turning into yourself and life with honesty is no easy thing. Being human is a wild experience! I think most of us are doing the best we can with what we have to work with at the time, and you should be proud of yourself for your willingness to learn more. Clarity sucks a lot of the time, but it is always liberating.
My style is unstructured, conversational, and candid. I see therapy as a process that unfolds towards deeper understanding and acceptance of who we are and what life is; from here we can shift how we relate to ourselves and life. My approach is grounded in humanistic and holistic therapies, and emphasizes the complex and dynamic nature of human beings. I often explore the impacts of childhood experiences, as they develop the foundation we use to navigate our adult lives.
The feedback I typically get from clients is that they have gained a deeper understanding and acceptance of who they are and what they want from their life. I have observed many of my clients to feel more empowered and freer in their lives.
